Engineering, Science and Analysis Unit Position

What You'll Do:
- Will be under the general direction of one or more design and manufacturing engineers with the opportunity to exercise considerable autonomy in completing tasks and driving projects forward.
- Provide support for research and development efforts in RF, electrical, and mechanical design, including the fabrication, testing, measurement, and troubleshooting of antenna prototypes.
- Collaborate with engineers to provide manufacturability input during design stages and contribute to design improvements for production antennas.
- Perform standard duties and tasks and will resolve routine questions and problems independently.
- Work will be performed under general direction on a day-to-day basis and will be reviewed upon completion.
- Develop thorough technical solutions to a wide range of problems and may direct less-experienced employees.
- Must be able to relate well with other people both from the engineering and production ranks both verbally and in written form.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of relatable work experience.
- Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor's or Master's, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Ability to develop a wide range of R&D-support capabilities, to get involved in either multiple programs or multiple aspects of the same program.
A DoD Interim Secret clearance will be required to start work and required to be maintained to continue work. Higher level clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access. As this position requires operating a company vehicle, an offer and subsequent employment are contingent upon possessing and maintaining a valid US driver's license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience working with test and measurement equipment (i.e., scales, torque wrenches, calipers, and micrometers).
- Experience with auto, auto body and carpentry work apply well for the fabrication and assembly skills needed for this position.
- Experience with various hand and power tools.
- Experience with wood working equipment such as panel saws, table saws, planers, routers and other various equipment.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $46680 - $74687. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
