Graphic Designer II (Packaging & label)

Purpose:

  The Artwork Developer creates and edits product packaging artworks to support new product introductions and product labeling revisions and Third-Party customer products (where applicable).

  n

• n

  The Artwork Developer receives change details through internal Global Label Management organization representatives and affiliates across the world.

  n
n
• n

  Artwork development is done according to policies, procedures, and right first-time principles in a timely manner to meet established timelines.

  n
n

Responsibilities:

n
• n

  Create and edit artwork according to source information, packaging specifications , equipment specifications, print supplier requirements, and right first-time principles while adhering to project schedule.

  n
n
• n

  Stay on task for multiple projects simultaneously. Manage own projects by evaluating project status and collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines.

  n
n
• n

  Proofreading artwork for adherence to requested changes, technical requirements, and printing considerations

  n
n
• n

  Successfully resolve routine technical challenges related to artwork development

  n
n
• n

  Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness

  n
n
• n

  Complete work according to policies, best practices, and procedures to assure deliverables meet requirements.

  n
n
• n

  Ensure compliance with internal procedures and training SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

  n
n

Qualifications:

n
• n

  Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Art Design, Print Media, other closely related study required or equivalent work experience.

  n
n
• n

  Minimum 3 years proven experience in artwork production for varied types of packaging, preferred experience in the pharmaceutical, device, or Aesthetic industry.

  n
n
• n

  Demonstrated skill working on a Mac and using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and barcode software with emphasis on Adobe InDesign.

  n

• n

  Demonstrated knowledge of pre-press file preparation.

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge of printing and packaging industry practices.

  n
n
• n

  Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  n
n
• n

  Self-motivated and ability to work independently with excellent focus on details and accuracy

  n
n
• n

  Experience creating and verifying various types of barcodes preferred.

  n
n
• n

  Experience using artwork or document management system preferred.

  n
n
• n

  Experience using electronic proofreading tools and systems preferred.

  n
n

Must have:

n
• n

  Multi -Page formatting is Typesetting Long Documents (Book type) in InDesign .

  n
n
• n

  The file could be 30 - 200 pages . the candidate should have experience with Stylesheets (Handling & Organisation)

  n

• n

  Foreign Language typesetting experience preferred but not strictly necessary

  n
n
