CAD Designer

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. The key responsibilities include:

• Reviews engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
• Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs.
• Transforms initial rough product designs into working documents using computer aided design (CAD).
• Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
• Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.

Preferred qualifications include:

• 3 to 5 years CAD experience knowledge in low voltage systems pertaining to security and life safety systems.
• Knowledge in low voltage systems pertaining to security and life safety systems.
• Ability to work in all AutoCAD versions and be able to quickly adapt to new CAD standards and procedures.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
