Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Geotechnical Engineer to uphold consistent quality standards in project and proposal delivery. As a fully competent engineering professional, you will manage detailed phases of moderately sized and complex projects, independently performing a variety of tasks or selected segments of larger projects.

Responsibilities

  Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.

  Work closely with senior -level project managers to gain additional project management experience for more complex and larger projects.

  Make design, engineering, and construction recommendations, adaptations, and modifications.

• n

  Prepare proposals and reports for projects of varying complexity.

  n

• n

  Perform quality control review of proposals written by others.

  n
n
• n

  Evaluate complex laboratory and field data for inclusion in reports.

  n
n
• n

  Serve as a technical adviser to junior-level project team members.

  n
n
• n

  Interact directly with clients and project teams to develop scopes of services, communicate project progress, and provide findings and recommendations.

• n

  Write and prepare routine and complex engineering reports detailing services provided, findings, and recommendations.

  n

• n

  Participate in marketing, sales, and business development activities.

  n
n
• n

  Supervise graduate, field, and project engineering staff.

n

Essential Skills

n
• n

  Proficiency in Geotechnical Engineering and Civil Engineering.

  n
n
• n

  Experience with geotechnical project management (Geotechnical PM).

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge of DOT regulations and standards.

  n
n
• n

  Experience in transportation, civil, concrete, and roadway projects.

  n
n

Additional Skills & Qualifications

n
• n

  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  n
n
• n

  0 - 5 years of relevant experience in the field.

  n
n

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.88 - $33.65/hr.
