SodexoMagic is hiring an Operations Manager 3 to oversee student nutrition operations for the District of Columbia Public Schools. Based in the Washington, DC area, the Operations Manager will manage and lead a portfolio of 10 schools with more than $5 million in managed volume inclusive of the student dining services, procurement, marketing, and food and physical safety programs. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to drive operational goals and client relationships. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of school nutrition management and experience in food services.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily operations of student nutrition services across 10 DCPS schools
• Supervise and support school-based site leaders and front-line food service teams
• Manage food procurement, inventory, and ensure food safety and quality standards
• Implement marketing, culinary, and nutrition programs and initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school leadership and support teams
• Monitor and meet financial, compliance, and operational performance targets
• Ensure completion of daily Quality Assurance audits and compliance with food and physical safety standards

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
