Food Operations Manager

Sodexo is hiring a Food Operations Manager for SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO. The Food Operations Manager will be responsible for directing and overseeing the food service team and ensuring smooth and successful operations. The Food Operations Manager will come with strong food service management experience and proven ability to build teams, mentor others, and drive customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day food service operations and team members
• Motivate, coach, mentor and develop other management team and supervisors
• Interact with customers, hospital staff, and visitors to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assist the General Manager/Director with financials and reporting
• Deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations

Qualifications

• Food service management experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to foster culture, retain employees, and develop teams
• A strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
• A passion for a high level of customer service
• Healthcare food service experience preferred but not required

Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
