Location: Shepherdsville, KY, USA - 170 Clermont Road

Shift: Monday through Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM.

Note: OT mandatory if required. Shift subject to change based on needs of the business. Emergencies in the building may cause slight shift changes or overtime.

Compensation - Competitive Base Pay + $1.50/hr shift differential

Job Summary: Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities. Ensure proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance. Performs general tasks and completes routine assignments. Apply skills to the completion of assigned task. Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of routine to moderately complex scope. This role requires judgement within defined policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide electrical support for all facility systems and equipment including but not limited to conveyors, Automation, Printers, Strappers, Compressors, and other technologies.
• Communicate with and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Self-starter in new system and equipment learning and training.
• Ability to learn quickly and address issues as they arise during normal working hours or when on call.
• Ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on facility systems.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor for optimization of the building

Minimum Requirements:

• Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in Mechanical/HVAC, Electrical, or a combination of both, preferably within a distribution or warehouse environment
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Basic understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems including power feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, AC/DC drives, PLC's, UPS systems, compressors, strappers air handling units and CRAC units
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code
• Experience with LOTO and OSHA regulations
• MS Office- basic (Word, Excel, MS Teams)
• Work order experience is preferred
• Power Equipment experience with Forklift or Pallet Jack is preferred; however, the location is willing to train those that are able to maintain certifications

Physical Requirements (some or all may apply):

• Ability to perform lifting (weight varies based on product and team lifts may be involved for heavier products).
• Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, power equipment use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.
• May include working in refrigerated areas at times
• May include working in small spaces at times
• May include working at heights at times

Our Base Pay Range for this position $17.40 - $29.00
