Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of a hospital facility. This role requires a proactive individual capable of performing routine inspections and maintenance to keep the facility in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned areas routinely and perform necessary maintenance to ensure the facility is functioning and serviceable.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Repair and maintain various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, and office equipment.
• Report major maintenance needs and recommend corrective actions.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a facilities maintenance or field service role in a trade.
• Proficiency in electrical, facilities maintenance, mechanical, plumbing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a daily basis.
• Demonstrated communication skills, including written, verbal, and email communication.
• Customer service experience in previous roles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with painting is a huge bonus.
• Experience working on rooftop HVAC units is a plus.
• Familiarity with VAV (Variable Air Volume) Boxes.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment such as apartments, hotels, or corporate facilities.

2nd shift Tues-Sat

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
