Aerotek is hiring for HVAC Service Technicians in Syracuse, NY!

The Commercial Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems using their expertise in refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing, and mechanical layouts. Service technicians work on a variety of systems, from wind air conditioning units to chillers, boilers, and rooftop units, in diverse settings such as bars, restaurants, offices, and retail spaces.

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of Commercial/Industrial HVAC Service experience.
• Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• OSHA 10 and EPA 608 (Universal) Certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in preventive maintenance, mechanical, service, and construction.
• Familiarity with HVAC service and mechanical layouts.

Work Environment:

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Technicians are required to be on call once every 6 weeks, from Monday 4:30pm to Monday 7:30am, with compensation for on-call hours.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
