FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $21.49 - $27.94 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
As an Entry-Level Medical Assistant, you will perform essential clinical and administrative tasks that support the healthcare team in providing the best patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers or nurses in delivering patient care.
• Conduct basic clinical tasks and specimen collection while monitoring and communicating patient condition changes.
• Document all patient care provided in an accurate manner.
• Manage medical equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and organized examination area.
• Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, scheduling appointments, entering data, and registering patients.
• Exhibit critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Credentials:
  Essential:
  * Basic Life Support
  * Registered Medical Assistant
  * Certified Medical Assistant
• Education:
  Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Licensure/Certification:
  Required Licensure/Certification: CMA/RMA. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• Experience:
  Minimum Experience: None Required.
• IF APPLICABLE: BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before the start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid for sixty days past hire date.
