Work You'll Do

As a Project Delivery Manager on the project, you will:

1. Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
2. Collaborate with business units and technical stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements.
3. Plan, coordinate, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of engineering initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
4. Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and leadership to align priorities and manage expectations.
5. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product adoption, reliability, and business impact.
6. Drive ongoing enhancements to the product based on user feedback, analytics, and emerging technology trends.
7. Ensure comprehensive documentation of product, processes, and features for both technical and non-technical audiences.
8. Ensure the platform adheres to security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
• 5+ years of experience in engineering management or IT project management, preferably with API platforms or integration technologies.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience leading development teams

Preferred:

• Experience with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects or products in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with security, authentication, and authorization standards (e.g., OAuth, JWT) is a plus.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, QA, security, and business stakeholders.
• Previous experience implementing complex API solutions for Federal health clients.
• Previous experience delivering high-availability systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and API management tools.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,025 to $198,375.
