Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Our Client is looking to hire an Electro-Mechanical Engineer for their facility in Perrysburg Ohio! Our client is a leader in manufacturing high-quality components for the packaging industry.
The Electro-mechanical Engineer would be responsible for reviewing mechanical systems, understanding their basic functionality and operation, creating final production drawings, and working with automated systems with moving components. Qualified candidates would have experience within a manufacturing or shop facility.
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Fluent with the most recent version of SolidWorks
- Background within a Manufacturing or shop floor
- Experience with Electrical & Control wiring
- Experience with Controls Programming
- Experience working up to 480V
- Experience wiring from schematics
- Programming HMI/PLC software
- Creating Schematics
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop various packaging concepts in coordination with finished products and materials used and ensure compatibility of packaging with manufacturing unit.
- Assist all internal teams and perform research on all products and evaluate packing requirements in development phase of all products.
- Provide support to all products, documents all activities and perform tests on product designs.
- Assist with packaging component and assemblies and coordinate with product designers and ensure compliance to all internal and external requirements.
- Provide technical support to all engineering and provide support to manufacturing and implementation processes of product packaging.
- Documents all engineering protocols and develop all engineering and manufacturing specification and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and document all tooling designs for packages and ensure maintenance of all bill of materials according to required specification.
- Review all new technology and prepare design to increase efficiency and ensure effective transition of all designs into design process.
- Coordinate with both national and international vendors and reduce material costs and plan related activities for packaging.
- Develop and maintain activity schedule for projects.
