What you'll do...

• Develop Electrified Powertrain Control System work products that coordinate actions and functions between modules and subsystems to meet vehicle level and Feature attributes such as:
n

1. n Functional requirementsnn
n
2. n Quality Documents (Boundary Diagrams, FMEA, P-Diagram, Interface Matrix)nn
n
3. n Design Validation Method (DVM) - Test Specificationnn
n
4. n Design Validation Plan and Report (DVP&R) - Test Reportnn
n

• n

  Perform System level testing in vehicle, on breadboard or using Software/Hardware in the Loop

  n
n
• n

  Analyze vehicle CAN communication data and ECU diagnostics

  n
n
• n

  Submit CAN Network Interface Design (NID) requests to identify CAN signals transmitted and received by the Hybrid Powertrain Control Modules (HPCM)

  n
n
• n

  Support Functional Safety tasks where necessary

  n
n
• n

  Support/Drive control system quality/field issue root cause investigation and issue resolution

  n
n
• n

  The engineer will join a diverse team of subject matter experts in analyzing the functional design, failure modes, error states, noises and control factors for Hybrid and Electric powertrains.

  Review software implementation code

  n
n

You'll have...

n
• n

  Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.3+ years' experience in control system design or calibration

  n
n
• n

  3+ years' experience with vehicle systems and/or vehicle level attributes

  n
n
• n

  3+ years' of experience in powertrain systems, components and electrified vehicles

  n
n
• n

  Even better, you may have... Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

  n
n
• n

  Troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electromechanical and software systems

  n
n
• n

  Ability to manage/resolve urgent launch/Quality concerns

  n
n
• n

  Strong leadership skills, passion for quality, passion to improve customer satisfaction

• n

  Very effective ability to explain technical details and gain alignment and consensus on solutions.

  Understanding of programing languages and tools (C , Matlab, Simulink etc)

  Experience with data recording tools (ATI, CANalyzer)
