Test engineer for a safety test facility including setting up tests, conducting tests, and reviewing data

Provide engineering support, problem resolution, and recommendations for Safety Labs

Interface with internal and external customers on testing and facility improvements

Review and analyze test data tests stands to ensure high quality test data is collected and delivered to customers, make changes as needed to maintain high quality testing

Provide direction to test technicians supporting testing on multiple test stands

Provide initial diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of test systems including mechanical systems, control systems, data acquisition, safety permissive, transducers, and other support systems

Provide support for project engineering teams for test facility and instrumentation upgrades

Evaluate existing test systems, methods, data acquisition, etc. and recommend improvements

Research, recommend, design, and implement state of the art technologies for safety test facilities, test fixtures, test methods, data acquisition, and instrumentation

BSEE or BSME degree required

Desired: Familiar with data acquisition systems, control systems, and various other test systems

Excellent communication and technical writing skills

Goal oriented self-starter with excellent teamwork skills

Helpful to have knowledge of control systems, design of experiments, and process control methods
