Key Responsibilities:

• This role requires physical engagement in a food processing environment, including moderate exertion, bending, stooping, and lifting objects over 50 pounds. Extended walking or standing may also be required.
• Work involves exposure to varying conditions, including wet or humid areas and moving mechanical parts. Personal protective equipment is mandatory.
• Implement automation solutions for controlling plant processes, including design and configuration of control systems.
• Develop control strategies based on industry best practices and approved components.
• Collaborate with support teams to identify improvement areas and provide training for completed projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.
• A minimum age of 18 years.
• Familiarity with PLC/HMI/Controls programming languages.
• Capability to update and troubleshoot electrical or instrumentation systems.
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing electrical schematics.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to excel in both team and individual environments.
• Must pass an Electrical Aptitude Test.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with Cargill.
• Understanding of continuous and batch process control strategies.
• Working knowledge of production processes.
• Experience in configuring and programming PLC and HMI systems.
• Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance and scheduling.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens automation, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
• Familiarity with digital business technologies in plant settings.
