Electrician

Amentum is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team for an OCONUS construction project. This project will last approximately 8-months. This will be an opportunity to work on a high-impact project in a dynamic environment. The position will require the following attributes and responsibilities:

  Proficient at running conduit

  n
n
• n

  Proficient at wiring and terminations to include but not limited to; lighting /electrical panels/fire alarm/low voltage controls

  n

• n

  Install electrical components to include but not limited to electrical panels / lighting / switches / receptacles / control wiring / fire alarm

  n
n
• n

  Assist with the project goals in supporting other trades as needed

  n
n
• n

  Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

  n
n
• n

  Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge of National Electric Code, state and local building codes.

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.

  n
n
• n

  Use of testing equipment and hand tools.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

  n
n

Required Qualifications:

n
• n

  Must have a Secret US Government Security Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Security Clearance

  n
n
• n

  High school diploma or GED equivalent

  n
n
• n

  OCONUS Experience

  n
n
• n

  Current Journeyman Electrician's License

  n
n
• n

  5 - 7 years commercial or industrial electrical experience

  n
n
• n

  Experience with new builds, and renovation projects

  n
n

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master Electrician's License
