We are currently seeking a skilled Electrician for Machine Repair to join our team in Euclid, Ohio (22801).

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Electrician focused on machine repair, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our complex production equipment and systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to utilize their skills in a dynamic work environment. You will primarily work 1st shift, with potential for flexible hours, including weekends and on-call operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot, inspect, adjust, and repair automated machinery and robotic systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical systems, recommending improvements for enhanced efficiency and reliability.
• Perform equipment failure analyses and assist engineers with performance testing.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of repairs for compliance and regulatory purposes.
• Collaborate with engineers, production leads, and supervisors to facilitate streamlined operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while managing spare parts inventory.
• Participate in continuing education to stay abreast of evolving technologies.
• Assume responsibility for work prioritization and safety during off-shift hours.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of an Electrician Apprentice Program, an Associate degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to pass the skilled trade assessment test.
• Knowledge in electrical troubleshooting, with some familiarity with combustion and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with relay logic, industrial controls, electronics, and PLCs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Proficient with measuring devices such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; team-oriented and safety-conscious.
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds, work in confined spaces, and at heights.
• Willingness to wear a respirator and work flexible hours as needed.
