$130-160k base + bonus!
Position Overview
The Drywall Estimator will be responsible for assessing project requirements and preparing accurate cost estimates for drywall installation and related services. This role requires a strong understanding of drywall construction processes and excellent analytical skills to ensure competitive and profitable project bids.
Key Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall installation and associated services
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate bidding
• Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to create comprehensive estimates
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
• Provide support during the bidding process and respond to client inquiries regarding estimates
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices to enhance estimating accuracy
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial drywall estimating experience
• Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials
• Proficiency with OST software
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
