Dairy Farmers of America has immediate job openings for motivated production workers to join our team. The facility is transitioning from a fluid dairy plant to a culture plant producing cottage cheese, sour cream, and yogurt.

Hourly Rate: $24.93 - $26.92

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a safety conscious environment. Challenge status quo safety behaviors, engage in safety initiatives and attend all safety related training.
• Drive for and ensure work product remain in or exceed the standards and specifications established by Quality Assurance and Compliance.
• Initiate and drive continuous improvement within the department, operations, and other areas of the facility as part of the team to ensure plant sustainability.
• Engage and support a team environment within the department and across the facility.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety policies and other policies as outlined by the Company.
• Production Operator will ensure proper specification on product
• Track downtime downstream of filler and other applicable downtime equipment with the area,
• Perform required weight and code checks at correct intervals.
• Clean machine regularly during production, maintain floor cleanliness and complete all required Master Sanitation Schedule items daily,
• Pass on information to incoming shift
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
