Apex Systems is hiring Compounders for a leading food manufacturer in the Philadelphia area. This is a great company with stellar career advancement opportunities. The role involves production, compounding, and blending of powder products, following the companys guidelines for Good Manufacturing Procedures, quality, manufacturing, and safety policies.

Responsibilities:

• Select proper mixing equipment.
• Follow all company GMP/SOP guidelines.
• Perform Pre-Op and Post-Op inspections in accordance with FSP-004, documenting results on the Packing Order.
• Clean and sanitize all production equipment (including tools) per applicable Sanitation SOPs. Perform residual chlorine checks after CFC foam application and rinse, documenting results on the Batch Slip.
• Sanitize all compounding equipment.
• Sample all completed batches.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; assistance required for anything over this limit.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, and fumes or airborne particles.
• Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to vibration.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
