Department: CT Scan

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $36.19 - $54.28 / hour. Compensation based on relevant experience

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and, or registry eligible with completion of the registry in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure as required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, valid for sixty days after hire.

Job Responsibilities

• Review patient history and initiate CT images based on physician orders while prioritizing patient education to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Administer contrast media or related imaging medications safely while monitoring patient conditions.
• Report any changes in patient conditions promptly.
• Implement best practices for imaging clarity, quality control, and equipment functionality based on AART standards.
• Perform 3-D post-processing and manage the entry, transmission, and reporting of scan results.
