Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification to perform a range of CT procedures.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a combined radiology department
• Covers general CT scans including chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, pediatric exams, and CT angiography with post-processing
• Involves scanning trauma patients efficiently and handling medication distribution responsibilities as needed
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Schedule is Thursday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Holiday coverage includes Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day
• Responsibilities include timely completion of scans and post-processing, minimizing radiation exposure, and maintaining high-quality imaging
• May participate in orientation and training of new associates and students
• Participation in departmental and modality meetings is expected
• Will provide input on departmental planning and process improvement
• May have access to secured drug storage areas as part of job duties
• Scrubs or dress code details are not specified
• Applicants should allow at least two weeks for background check and drug screening results

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years CT experience required
• ARRT certification is required
• Associate's degree is required
• One year of experience in this specialty is required
• Must demonstrate reliability, effective communication, and leadership skills
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
• License required if applicable
• AHA certifications must be current at time of consideration
• Must supply radiation badges
