Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year specialty experience and ARRT certification for a night shift contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based CT Scan unit
• Responsible for performing general CT scans, including chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams
• Handles trauma patient scans in a timely and efficient manner
• Includes CTA examinations with post-processing responsibilities
• Utilizes EPIC for charting and documentation
• Night shift schedule; 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• Performs exams while minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff
• Expected to assist in the training and orientation of new associates and students
• May have access to secured drug storage areas and may be required to handle medications
• Maintains high-quality imaging standards and contributes to department process improvement
• Participates in departmental meetings and demonstrates effective communication and leadership skills
• Must be able to complete post processing tasks efficiently

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in the CT specialty
• Active ARRT certification required
• CT certification required
• Associate's degree required
• Must possess required state licensure if applicable
• Current AHA certifications that are valid through the contract
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
• Vendor-provided radiation dosimetry badges
• Experience using EPIC EMR preferred
