The DOD SkillBridge programs provide our retiring and transitioning Service members the opportunity to participate in industry training programs while transitioning out of their Military careers.
The DOD covers Military pay and benefits during a Service member's time in a SkillBridge program, providing an invaluable experience for the Service member and the Industry partner.
This posting is for active service members approved or in the approval process to participate in the DOD's SkillBridge Program who already possess an active Top-Secret Clearance. SkillBridge candidates are applying to a six-month internship functioning as a Crisis Management Specialist.
Select Locations: Washington, New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Quantico.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to obtain a Top Secret-SCI clearance
- Some travel may be required
- Must be Approved or in the approval process to participate in the DOD's Skillbridge Program
- Must have (or be able to obtain) a valid driver's license
- Selectee will be required to complete form FD-887, Request for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Establishes and maintains liaison relationships with FBIHQ and field office personnel to include Executive Management.
- Analyze widely diverse and complex issues relating to the management of administrative/operational programs..
- Compile, prepare, present, and defend briefings, recommendations, findings, and narrative summaries in written reports and documents to Executive Management and external entities.
- Work through the crisis management process of planning, identifying, acquiring and deploying resources needed to anticipate, prevent and/or resolve a crisis.
- Assists in the development and coordination of projects which further the overall goals and objectives of the organization where it serves.
- Analyze the FBI's overall structure, missions, functions, policies and programs in order to identify the impact and effect of critical incidents.
- Assists in the coordination of the crisis management response by providing technical advice as to the roles of each component in a command post.
- Develops and communicates trends and observations based on detailed analysis of data sets from multiple sources.

- The FBI is in the Executive Branch of the federal government. It is one of the components of the Department of Justice (DOJ). The FBI is the principle investigative arm of the DOJ. All FBI positions are in the excepted service.
