Connections Club Coordinator Assisted Living

The Connections Club Coordinator implements and manages programs in accordance with policy, philosophy, and compliance standards for the Connections Club. The Connections Club Coordinator maintains a home-like environment for their assigned residents, protects and promotes resident rights, and assists the residents to maintain independence and control to the greatest extent.

Skills Needed:

• Leadership: Must possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge: A solid foundation of current laws and regulations that influence provision of care and services in nursing facilities.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents and residents' families.
• Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a state-approved or Nursing Assistant competency evaluation program, or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the state.
• Continued dementia and Alzheimer's education.
