Compensation Consultant

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Compensation Consultant to join their team. As a Compensation Consultant, you will be supporting various business units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, technical expertise in compensation analysis, and excellent problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Compensation Consultant
Location: Austin, TX - Hybrid (3 days/week onsite, 2 days/week remote)
What's the Job?

• Provide comprehensive compensation analysis, benchmarking, data modeling, and reporting to support organizational decision-making.
• Partner with internal compensation teams to offer expertise on salary structures, market competitiveness, and equity considerations.
• Apply advanced compensation knowledge to resolve complex challenges and develop innovative solutions.
• Support compensation planning cycles including merit increases, promotions, equity awards, and bonuses through modeling and salary recommendations.
• Build and maintain compensation tools, data models, and internal databases to streamline processes and ensure data accuracy.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in compensation analysis and related functions.
• Strong skills in market benchmarking, job evaluation, salary structure design, and compensation analytics.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with compensation platforms is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and influence leadership at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
