Cleanroom Production Operator

As a Cleanroom Production Operator, you will be responsible for creating and assembling complex plastic tube products. This involves utilizing techniques to fuse, cut, form, bend, and shape plastic (primarily PFA) tubing to meet precise design specifications. You will use hand tools, bench top welders, and precision equipment to form PFA tubes. The role requires reading and interpreting drawings, prints, and work orders to carry out product design specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Create and assemble complex plastic tube products using various techniques.
• Utilize hand tools, bench top welders, and precision equipment to form PFA tubes.
• Read and interpret drawings, prints, and work orders to meet design specifications.
• Collaborate in a team environment to enhance techniques and improve repeatability.
• Work with area lead to prioritize workload and notify lead of any issues affecting the schedule.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in tube bending and mechanical assembly.
• Proficiency with measurement equipment and math skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, assembly drawings, and instructions.
• Effective communication skills with coworkers, area lead, and management.
• Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Proficiency using rulers, calipers, protractors, and various other measuring tools.
• Capability to work well in a team environment.

Work Environment:

This position involves working in a cleanroom environment. Occasionally, you will need to gown up and work within the cleanroom as required. The role operates on a swing shift from 3:30 pm to midnight, with a half-hour lunch break.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
