Job Description

We are seeking several highly skilled and motivated Project Engineers with over 6 years of experience, as well as a Civil Design Project Manager, to join our growing office in New York City. The ideal candidates will have experience in rail and transit design, providing conceptual, permitting, and final designs for a transit project in NYC. The role involves providing engineering design services conforming to applicable codes and standards, and developing studies and reports for various stages of work. Additionally, candidates will prepare technical specifications and construction cost estimates.

Essential Skills

• n

  Over 6 years of experience as a civil engineer designing transportation, rail, and MTA projects.

• n

  Experience with DOT and DDC projects.

  n

• n

  Technical design skills for aviation, transportation, and highway/roadway projects.

  n
n
• n

  Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads.

  n
n

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• n

  EIT preferred.

  n
n
• n

  Experience with land development, site development, grading, drainage, site planning, and highway design.

Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid schedule with the requirement to be in the office twice a week. The role is based in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity for quick growth. Employees will experience working with a small firm that has a strong backlog of interesting projects across New York, Chicago, and Indianapolis. This setup allows for direct client relationships and involvement in all areas of the business, from design to business development and project pursuits.
