Location Onsite for 8 weeks followed by remote work.
Travel may be required after the initial 8-week period based on customer needs.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive CitrixVDI Engineer to lead and support our Citrix and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Citrix environments and VDI solutions to ensure seamless, secure, and efficient remote desktop andapplication delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage Citrix infrastructure components including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Client (NetScaler), and related technologies.
Develop a resilient Citrix environment in Tulsa Data Center
Solution in TUL will mirror the existing Citrix environment at the NDC Lead the implementation and support of VDI solutions Expanding Citrix to Tulsa will allow us to balance loads, Perform capacity planning, performance tuning,and troubleshooting of Citrix and VDI environments to ensure high availability and optimal user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network, security, and endpoints to integrate VDI solutions with existing IT infrastructure.
Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to CitrixVDI administration, deployment, and security.
Monitor system health and proactively address issues using tools like Citrix Director, Citrix Studio, and other monitoring platforms.
Provide technical support and training to IT staff and end-users as needed.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in desktop virtualization.
