Salary Range: $18.50 - $25.50
Pay Info: $2,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Department Details

This position offers part-time hours on the evening shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, including every other weekend and holiday.

About the Role

The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a vital role by providing compassionate, resident-centered care in long-term care settings. You will assist with daily living activities, ensuring residents receive the support they need for a dignified quality of life. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will:

• Deliver age-appropriate care focused on the physical and psychological needs of residents.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Monitor vital signs and document resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Facilitate safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility for residents.
• Support residents during meal times, enhancing their dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in residents’ living areas.
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs, encouraging resident participation.

You will be an integral part of the nursing team, expected to adhere to infection control policies and provide exceptional care. May also aid nursing staff with various procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age. Previous nursing assistant experience is a plus.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required. Training and certification will be provided within four months of starting if not already certified.
• Must complete annual continuing education hours and competency testing.
