Currently Hiring Pediatric CNA for part-time / per-Diem (schedule will consist of rotating weekends PM / NOC Thursday - Monday and AM Saturday - Sunday availability needed asap!)

(Sub-Acute experience is a plus & Pediatric experience also a plus)

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

n
• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals  
n
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs and aides to deliver excellent patient care
n
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
n
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
n
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes
n
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment
n

A few must-haves for Certified Nursing Assistants:

n
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in California
n
• Minimum of 6 months CNA experience in a medical facility
n
• CPR/BLS, Fire card, TB, pre-employment physical
n
• Per California state mandate, the COVID 19 vaccine is required for this position
n
• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
n
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
n
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
