JOB SUMMARY

Your role will involve safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to various customers, unloading and delivering products according to customer invoices and company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unload products from the trailer, either by hand or using a hand cart in various weather conditions, placing items in designated customer storage areas.
• Complete all necessary paperwork following company and governmental guidelines.
• Adhere to food safety protocols and maintain sanitary conditions in vehicles and work areas.
• Develop strong customer relationships through excellent and courteous service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma/GED and 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school may substitute for a high school diploma.

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and the ability to be insured to operate a vehicle are conditions of employment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting practices. Skills in long-distance driving, customer communication, and problem-solving are essential. Ability to operate vehicles safely in varying conditions and meet productivity standards is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to sit, talk, and hear regularly. Frequently lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds. Climb in and out of the vehicle as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Normal exposure to wet, hot, cold, and humid conditions. Night shifts required, including weekends and holidays, to meet customer needs.
