CDL A Delivery Truck Operator

Job Summary:

Join Sysco as a reliable CDL A Delivery Truck Operator, where you will play a crucial role in safely and efficiently delivering various high-quality products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods, directly to our valued customers. As a member of our team, you will build strong relationships with your customers, utilizing your positive and friendly demeanor to understand and meet their needs while adhering to an assigned route schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 21 years of age or older.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, including understanding highway traffic signs and reporting.

• Capability to handle touch freight, lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing 40-60 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

• Flexible schedule with the possibility of overtime, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in customer delivery.

• 6 months of experience using a hand cart or hand truck preferred.

• 6 months of experience in the Food and Beverage industry preferred.

• A consistent work history of 2 years or more preferred.
