As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential to building and launching our rockets. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing aligned with our mission to revolutionize aerospace through additive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requests into purchase orders using ERP systems efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather procurement requirements and translate them into RFQs and POs.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to optimize value for the business.
• Manage supplier relationships under the guidance of Category Managers to ensure quality and reliability.
• Resolve procurement issues throughout the lifecycle of an order, including invoice discrepancies and delivery delays.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in procurement and supply chain management.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or Netsuite.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Expertise in purchase order creation and invoice management.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• 3+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a general supply chain role.

Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing environment located in Long Beach. You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the seamless procurement of essential materials and services.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
