Business Litigation Associate

A distinguished law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate with 3–6 years of experience in complex business litigation. The ideal candidate must have excellent academic credentials, strong legal writing skills, and the ability to manage hearings and depositions independently. This role requires a proactive and client-focused attorney who can work both collaboratively within a team and independently on high-stakes legal matters.

Duties

• Handle business litigation matters, including complex commercial disputes
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and depositions
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic counsel to clients
• Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
• Manage discovery processes and trial preparations

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in business litigation
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to handle hearings and depositions independently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Law Review or Clerkship experience (preferred)

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida State Bar (required)
