Position Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a litigation-focused environment. This role involves supporting attorneys with case management, document preparation, and ensuring compliance with court procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for attorneys, clients, insurance companies, courts, and external vendors.
• Coordinate and maintain attorney calendars, track deadlines, and manage case schedules.
• Review and prepare summaries of medical records and billing statements for case development.
• Analyze investigative materials, including police and surveillance reports, as well as government records, to extract relevant information.
• Organize and prepare case files for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Draft and format initial versions of pleadings and legal documents for attorney review.
• File and serve legal documents in accordance with jurisdictional requirements.
• Research and confirm court procedures, ensuring compliance with local and judge-specific rules.
• Support legal operations by performing additional tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated organizational and communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Reliability and respect for confidentiality and firm policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, especially in insurance defense or civil litigation.
• Understanding of litigation processes and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with legal practice management software such as ProLaw.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
