As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children aged 18 months to 8 years, employing ethical and evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive, center-based environment. With top-tier supervision and ongoing training, you will make a meaningful impact every day!
What you'll be doing:
- Implement ABA Therapy: Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy according to treatment plans, collecting data, writing insurance notes, and incorporating supervisor feedback.
- Support Child Development: Facilitate engaging, therapeutic activities to aid children's growth and learning.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to optimize treatment success and maintain a positive, safe environment.
- Engage Playfully: Interact with children through play, movement, and creative activities, fostering a joyful atmosphere.
- Effective Communication: Communicate positively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities and celebrate achievements.
Job Requirements:
- Physical Capability: Lift and move children up to 30 lbs, bend, squat, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain Therapy Environment: Keep play spaces tidy and organized to create a stimulating experience for children.
- Multitasking: Juggle various responsibilities while ensuring safety and prioritization.
- Team Support: Collaborate with regional and neighborhood teams, including travel to nearby centers as needed.
- Transport Requirements: Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are necessary.
- You must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School diploma or GED.
Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by passing a 40-hour training curriculum and the examination.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:
- Associates/High School: $20.00 - $24.00
- Bachelors: $20.00 - $25.50
- Masters: $20.00 - $28.00
Entry-level candidates can expect their first raise upon certification as RBT, typically within 21 days.
Preferred Experience:
- Childcare roles (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, etc.).
- Mental health professionals or advocates.
- Camp counselors, volunteers, or educators.
- Degrees in teaching, special education, psychology, or related fields.
- Experience as paraprofessionals or life skills assistants.
- A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- A desire to join a caring, supportive team culture.
