Lead Urgent Care Technician

Shift: Days

Pay: $22.14 - $28.78 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

In this role, you will guide team members, assist with department policies, and ensure exceptional patient experiences in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
• Mentor, monitor, coach, and evaluate team members' performance, focusing on productivity and quality management.
• Coordinate services, prioritize assignments, and facilitate effective problem-solving.
• Perform responsibilities of underlying job functions while guiding team members in handling complex situations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to operate with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Emergency Medical Technician, Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, EMT-Paramedic, or equivalent certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification; IV proficiency as per departmental guidelines within 6 months of hire.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• BLS certification must be current before the start date.
