Electro-Mechanical Technician

Join our dynamic team as an Electro-Mechanical Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of advanced production and manufacturing equipment. You'll be rewarded with a competitive hourly wage of $42.75. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to inspect equipment for optimal performance and perform essential preventative maintenance according to manufacturer's guidelines. If you enjoy mentoring others, you may also guide less experienced mechanics as they grow their skills.

Your responsibilities will include diagnosing complex equipment malfunctions and executing necessary repairs or adjustments. Please note, this role demands a proactive approach and the use of your own hand tools.

As part of your duties, you will be working in an environment with exposure to heat, noise, gas, and chemicals, requiring you to engage in frequent lifting, standing, climbing, crouching, bending, and kneeling. You may also be asked to work on weekends or holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on sophisticated production equipment.
• Conduct repairs on advanced production machinery as required.
• Carry out breakdown analysis to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain general housekeeping standards in work areas.
• Upgrade production lines with new equipment and technology to enhance efficiency.
• Oversee the activities of outside contractors working on assigned production lines.
• Facilitate package changeovers by altering line configurations as necessary.
• Uphold GMP, safety, and audit standards in all operations.
• Work autonomously under limited supervision and manage your tasks effectively.
• Document work schedules and completed tasks for accountability.
