AWS Platform Engineer

Must Have Technical
Functional Skills 10 years of experience in AWS cloud platform expertise, including
Infrastructure-as-Code (CDK and Terraform, Cloudformation), service architecture, scaling, and testing system performance and reliability.
Hands-on experience in building CICD pipeline using tools like AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
Proficient in creating build pipeline with expertise in Github Actions creation and support, build reliability, and improvements in containerization.
Observability expertise in implementation and improvements with service monitoring and alerting using Datadog, creation of dashboards, and detection of issues pre-deployment
Supporting teams with process improvements to reduce feedback time (quicker build, faster deploys), tutoring service developers with IaaC, and exploring new techniques and tooling.
Strong problem-solving skills, debugging, and troubleshooting experience.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Roles Responsibilities
Provisioning, configuring, and managing AWS resources like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
Designing and implementing CICD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
Utilizing tools like CloudFormation and Terraform to manage infrastructure through code Ensuring security best practices and compliance within AWS environments Write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews.
Monitoring and optimizing AWS cloud costs Implement best practices for performance tuning, error handling, and logging.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design.
Identifying and resolving issues related to infrastructure and applications
Working closely with development, operations, and other teams to streamline workflows and ensure smooth deployments.
