AV Technician

Under general direction of the Deputy Director, IT Support Services, this position will set up, operate, maintain, and
repair sound and video equipment for use in live events, such as meetings, webinars, and distance learning. They
may also assist in the production of programs, training events, videos used externally ensuring high-quality AV
experiences for both in-house teams and remote participants

Bachelors degree in information technology, Audiovisual Communications, or
related field.
2+ years of experience in AV technology or a similar role.
Strong understanding of AV systems, networking, and troubleshooting
techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with team members
and stakeholders.
Familiarity with video conferencing platforms and collaboration tools
