Software Test Engineer In The Robotics Industry

We are seeking a talented Automated Software Test Engineer to perform regression post-release testing on sensor and robotic systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct automated testing, execute test plans, and report on test pass/failures.
• Work daily in the lab with hardware systems.
• Enhance and edit test plans and procedures as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in software testing and using test equipment.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting language, and working in a Linux environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer engineering or related degree.
• Skills in writing test scripts and developing automated scripts.

Additional Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, pytest, and unit test is a plus.
• Ability to automate tests where necessary.
• Experience in regression testing, test engineering, and validation.
• Preferred experience in building computers and writing own code.
• Assertiveness to thrive in an R&D environment.
• Experience with embedded systems is ideal.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
