Because of their continued growth, a design/builder in the Jacksonville area seeks an Assistant Superintendent to join their team. Summary: The Assistant Superintendent shall supervise all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on a daily basis. This supervision shall ensure adequate manpower is available for each task and compliant work performed. This position shall be responsible for monitoring labor crews and security personnel. Must have excellent attention to detail and have the ability to adjust quickly as priorities change. Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst 40+ subcontractors and vendors. Carefully control labor hours and invoiced expenses.

Qualifications: 1-4 years of experience or 4 year degree in Construction Management

Skills Required for Assistant Superintendent:

• Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.
• Be able to read and understand plans.
• Physically lift up to 100 lbs.
• Have endurance and ability to visit entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures.

Other Assistant Superintendent Qualifications:

• Must be able to travel to the jobsite(s) as assigned.
