Assistant Store Manager - Spirit

Overview

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The role aims to maximize sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, and controlling expenses, shrinkage, merchandising and inventory control. The minimum age requirement is 18 and the candidate must have a flexible schedule. The physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Prior retail management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store.
• Assist in ensuring Guest Services excellence and staff development.
• Control expenses, shrinkage and perform inventory control activities.
• Engage in merchandising and overall store operations to maximize sales/profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18; must have a flexible schedule.
• Prior retail management experience is required.
• Physical ability to stand/walk 8+ hours, climb ladders, set up fixtures, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate ranges from $17.00 - $17.25 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience. Benefits include: Massachusetts Paid Sick Time , Set-Up and Tear Down Premium Pay Programs, End of Season Premium Pay Program. All bonus and pay programs are subject to qualifications.
