Salary: up to $120,000 / year

Responsibilities

Assistant Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)

Responsible for assisting in implementation and monitoring of the facility Quality Assurance Program
Reports any significant quality assurance concerns to the Administrator immediately.
Provides oversight of the facility department managers at the discretion of the Administrator
Attends QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) and Quality Assurance & Review Meetings.
Accountable for administrative responsibilities, during the absence of the Administrator, within the facility.
Participates in job training and development program through the Elderwood organization.
Assumes administrative responsibility for departments who do not have a department head on a temporary basis.
May assume responsibilities for other selected departments from time to time with the approval of the Administrator.
Generate and develop ideas, which improve the quality of care for residents or increase job productivity and satisfaction. Encourage involvement and recognize staff for making exceptional contributions.
Assures that all staff exhibit the highest level of customer service towards residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.

Qualifications

Assistant Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)

Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a major in health or related field, necessary. Master's Degree preferred.
Newly licensed Administrator or current Administrator with 1-3 years of Administrator experience preferred.
Minimum of two years' experience in management, preferably in a health care setting, required. Long-term care experience strongly preferred.
Qualities of leadership, dependability, integrity, and organizational ability.
Management skills to supervise staff and carry out assigned functions.
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
Ability to relate well with staff at all levels.
An interest in the field of health care, particularly in the needs of the geriatric population.
This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
