Job Summary
Our company is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking an experienced Assistant Accounting Manager to join our accounting team.
The Assistant Accounting Manager will apply accounting principles to prepare and analyze financial reports, ensure financial compliance, and support key accounting functions. This includes month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger management, budgeting, forecasting, bank reconciliations, and tax support.
This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations and reporting
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate posting of financial transactions
- Prepare and adjust journal entries, including consolidations, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations, including IFRS conversion adjustments
- Prepare purchase price allocations, lease accounting entries, and other technical accounting matters
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and tax provisions under U.S. GAAP
- Prepare and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, supporting compliance with KSOX standards
- Plan and coordinate the annual budget schedule; collect, review, and analyze budget submissions
- Analyze and report on budget variances and provide insights to management
- Collaborate with external auditors to support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Review financial statements from subsidiaries for accuracy and compliance
- Support special projects and other assigned duties to meet department and company goals.
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience:
-
Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, including financial reporting and consolidation
Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Accounting Manager or in a similar senior accounting role
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and relevant regulations
- Strong understanding of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); advanced Excel preferred
- Familiarity with internal controls and compliance frameworks (KSOX/SOX 404(b))
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical business practices
Working Conditions
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment
