Application Developer

Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in innovative communication solutions, is seeking a Application Developer to join their team. As an Application Developer, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting the e-Commerce and AWS infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Application Developer

Location: Redmond, WA (100% Onsite)

What's the Job?

• Design and implement communications components, applications, and services to support critical systems.

• Partner with satellite, networks, and security engineering teams to develop integrated solutions.

• Design components, services, and relevant data models to enhance system functionality.

• Collaborate with engineers across the organization to gather requirements, develop, deploy, and operate key e-Commerce software for Kuiper.

• Work on initiatives building e-Commerce functions on AWS infrastructure, implementing best practices for software development.

What's Needed?

• 4+ years of professional software development experience, excluding internships.

• 3+ years of experience in system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

• Experience with Java SDKs, AWS development, API design, and JSON.

• Proficiency in Java programming language and ability to learn new languages quickly.

• Strong AWS cloud-native skills and familiarity with AWS tooling.
