Key Responsibilities:

KBR is looking for an engineer to provide an advisor to support multiple aspects of Government programs acquisition efforts. This role will include:

  SOW: Writing the Statement of Work for upcoming acquisitions

  n
n
• n

  Acquisition: Defining proposal acceptance criteria, monitoring developer's cost, schedule, and performance during execution, reviewing CDRLs, and providing innovative acquisition recommendations to solve challenging issues with the optimal courses of action.

  Oversight: Overseeing contract execution and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)

  n

• n

  Performance: Advising Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) on developer performance through cost, schedule, and performance analysis and evaluation

  Technical: Identifying risks and providing unique courses of action to solve complex technical problems

  n
n
• n

  Accuracy: Reviewing contractor submissions for technical accuracy and providing government personnel detailed critical analysis

  n

• n

  Compliance: Assist with contract compliance assessments

Qualifications:

Required:

n
• n

  Clearance: Must possess and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI with Poly

  n
n
• n

  Education: BS/BA 18+ years, or MS/MA 15+ years, or PhD and 12+ years

  n
n
• n

  Support: More than 15 years of experience focusing on acquisition support (structure of contracts, execution of task orders and fixed price contracts, the government competitive acquisition process)

  n
n
• n

  DOD/IC: Experience with DoD/IC acquisitions, including source selections on Major System Acquisition

  n
n
• n

  Systems: Familiarity with GEOINT systems

  n
n
• n

  Process: Experience with Systems Engineering processes across the development life cycle

  n
n
• n

  Policy: Familiarity with IC and DoD Acquisition regulations and policies

  n
n
• n

  Mentor: Ability to mentor junior contractors and Government team members

  n
n
• n

  Reporting: Track and report progress at multiple levels of Contractor and Government leadership

  n
n

  Tools: Familiarity using Confluence and JIRA Atlassian commercial tools

  Methodologies: Experience or training with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) agile methodologies

  Project Management: PMI PMP or DAWIA Level 3+ certification. Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management Level III+
