The Opportunity

As a Treasury Analyst, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in financial analysis, ensure compliance, handle reporting, manage payment processing tasks, and collaborate with various key departments within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis:

• Monitor and communicate with project teams to monitor financial security renewals, reductions, and cancellations
• Oversee the issuance of commercial bonds for permits, business licensing, and sales tax
• Generate reporting on investment interest rates and bank credit ratings

Compliance:

• Communicate with project teams to monitor financial security renewals, reductions, and cancellations
• Monitor Black & Veatch Dun & Bradstreet ratings

Reporting:

• Prepare schedules for commercial bonds, performance bonds and letters of credit
• Create anticipated lists to identify future financial security obligations
• Generate monthly foreign currency exchange rate report used for financial statement reporting

Payment Processing:

• Support daily cash management activities including wire payment processing, establishing cash positions, decision positive pay exceptions, approving tax payments, initiating remote deposits, and uploading payment files
• Ensure the accuracy of foreign currency payment instructions

Primary Internal Clients:

• Project managers, project controls, project accounting, senior finance leaders, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and corporate accounting

Primary External Clients:

• Banks, surety brokers, surety bond issuers

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or related experience.
• Typically 2+ years' related experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Microsoft Office Suite, Basic
• Knowledge of Financial concepts, Basic
• Knowledge of Treasury concepts, Basic
• Knowledge of foreign currency concepts, Basic

• Ability to plan and prioritize meeting commitments
• Communicate effectively to understand and meet requirements
• Make timely decisions to meet deadlines
• Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.

• Extensive keyboarding, limited travel and overtime.
