Electrical Wireman

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Wireman to join our team in an industrial-commercial setting. You will be responsible for assembling large power distribution equipment, including control panels and switchboards for switchgear equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical assembly and wiring/building of control panels and switchboards.
• Utilize schematics to wire panels and units.
• Bend and install conduit (Rigid & EMT).
• Complete the building and wiring of units, which can take over a month.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.

Essential Skills

• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
• Ability to read and work from schematics.
• Proficiency with electrical tools and point-to-point wiring.
• Troubleshooting skills for resolving wiring and component application problems.
• Must have own tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with conduit (Rigid or EMT) is a plus.
• Switchgear experience is a plus.
• Journeyman Card is a plus.
• Industrial electrician background is a plus.
• Commercial/residential electrical experience is considered.

Work Environment

Work in a spacious, well-lit, and organized facility that is climate-controlled, built in 2010 with recent renovations. Collaborate with mechanical assemblers and other fabricators. Standard working hours are 5:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with potential overtime and occasional Friday work.

Job Type & Location

This is a position based out of Canton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
